RiskCard / Limitations
Disclaimer
Last updated: November 6, 2026 (America/New_York)
RiskCard is not a security audit, penetration test, malware scan, or legal advice.
Scores and summaries are generated from public developer disclosures on Google Play listings (Data Safety text, permissions labels, and similar on-page copy). Those disclosures can be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or misunderstood by automated parsing.
- A low score does not mean an app is safe.
- A high score does not mean an app is malicious or illegal.
- Missing Data Safety text increases the score because disclosure is missing — not because harm was proven.
- Do not use RiskCard as the sole basis for parental, enterprise, school, or purchasing decisions.
Play Store page markup changes often; parsing may miss sections. Always open the official Data Safety panel on Google Play and verify before sharing claims about an app.
By using RiskCard you agree that the authors and publishers are not liable for decisions made from card output. Share responsibly and include the “disclosure-based, not an audit” note.
